Our preferences: liposuction
Proposes to reshape the silhouette by giving it more harmonious lines while permanently and radically removing localized and troublesome fatty deposits, called lipomeria. It has the advantage of being fast, efficient and of leaving virtually no visible scars.
The excess fatty tissue is sucked through very short incisions into which a long, thin cannula (a few millimeters in diameter) is inserted.
The most recent liposuction method is Mechanically Assisted Liposuction (PAL stands for Power Assisted Liposuction). This technological improvement allows smoother, more regular and more precise movements, in particular when the fat is very dense. As a result, the technique is more pleasant and safer for us.
In certain situations, the fat collected with conventional techniques or assisted liposuction can be prepared to be partly reinjected and thus improve the silhouette, for example to reshape buttocks that are too flat or give shape to the breasts.
Alternatives: cryolipolysis
Ultrasound could be combined and used at the same time as liposuction but have not been proven, sometimes with very significant tissue heating. We no longer use them.
Cryolipolysis by the Coolsculpting® by Zeltiq method, a non-surgical, non-invasive technique, is carried out in the doctor's office, allowing in one or two sessions to reduce excess fat effectively.
