Rhinoplasty is probably the surgery that most appeals to the artistic sense of the surgeon. Delicate, it requires a very good understanding and mutual trust between the patient and the practitioner.

Our preferences: nose surgery

Produces between 30 and 50 years a rejuvenating effect by obtaining a

natural looking nose, harmonizing with facial features.

Nose surgery is performed for functional, reconstructive or aesthetic reasons:

  • Functional, aimed at improving breathing.
  • Reconstructive, aimed at correcting the profile, the morphology, whether the deformation is of genetic origin or secondary to a fracture of the nose.
  • Aesthetics, consisting in modifying the appearance of the nose, reshaping it to make it more attractive and in harmony with the shape of the face.

Most often two consultations are necessary to finalize the project.

The changes in the bony portion (the bump and bone width) are dramatic and very evident as soon as the splint is removed.

On the other hand, the changes at the nasal tip are more subtle and often masked by the initial edema of the first weeks.

The use of 2D and now 3D morphing software like Crisalix allows preoperative simulation for plastic and aesthetic surgery.

It is particularly interesting in the case of rhinoplasty and allows patients to preview the result by integrating it into their physical appearance.

This modern tool is above all useful for better communication between the patient and the surgeon. It allows the patient to better understand and explain his wishes and the surgeon to assure the patient that he has fully understood them.

In no case can it be a contract on the expected result, the retraction and the thickness of the tissues of the nose sometimes limiting the precision of the result.
